New: See the Running Schedule on the Hoppings 5 page.
Sunday 28th August is fast approaching and we look forward to your involvement in the event.
Scarecrows this year are under the theme of ‘The Movies” and there is also the new How Does your Garden Grow competition where you can enter a hanging basket, a planted container, a window box or for the children; a decorated planted pot!
Entry form can be downloaded here. Scarecrow and Gardening Competition Application and Donation Form (PDF format 49kb). You can pop it into the Club, Gailton (next to the school) or Hollinside (house with big wooden gates) OR we will have a team of people round to collect them from your door on Sunday this weekend.
Remember to get writing your poems and pampering your pompoms, and dusting your sponges for the produce and poetry competitions. PLEASE NOTE : We need them to the Village Hall by 11.00am on the Sunday, not 12 noon as previously indicated. Sorry for the confusion! All details of the categories are on the Hoppings 5 page.
Go on, get involved! Brian has!
