HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee – Celebration in Hamsterley

Sunday 3 June and Tuesday 5th June

Sunday 3 June 10.30am: A Diamond Jubilee Celebration Service led by Mrs Margaret Wearmouth in the Methodist Chapel Churches Together Centre. A joyful occasion for all with lively singing and readings.

Don’t forget to call in to the Millennium Garden throughout the Summer to see the Jubilee and Olympic displays grow and bloom.

Tuesday 5th June.
Village Hall open from 12 noon for children to deliver and display their Mini Jubilee Garden, Jubilee Crown made from found materials and Poem or Short Story.

Village Picnic on the Green at 2.00pm(in Hall if wet).  Presentation of Jubilee Mugs. Prize for the best decorated front door or window!  Judging Monday 4 June.

50s Social Evening in the Hall from 7.00 to 11.00pm.  Bring your own food and drinks.  Coronation Quiz (50p).  Short entertainment. Music.  Prize for the best decorated table!
