It was a bright and happy occasion in school to mark the beginning of the Jubilee Celebrations. The children had prepared a feast for everyone, cucumber sandwiches, savouries, little iced cakes and strawberries with cream. A splendid afternoon tea.
This was followed by Class 1′s performance of Moments from the Queen’s life, accompaniment by Class 2 on the ukulele. They also sang various patriotic songs brilliantly.
A big thank you to everyone for their support on the day.
There will be a performance of “Going for Gold” followed by a summer fair on July 18th. This will be at the Village Hall, starting at 1.40pm. All welcome!
