Belief in Politics – A public lecture by Baroness Hilary Armstrong

Hilary Armstrong WA public lecture by Baroness Hilary Armstrong

Followed by discussion

Monday 8 April 2013 at 7pm, Hamsterley Methodist Chapel
and Churches Together Centre

Public confidence in politicians seems to have taken a bit of a hit in recent years but how much truth is there in some of the popular perceptions?  Baroness Hilary Armstrong is to speak on the world of politics and the principles she seeks to follow in public life.

Hilary, who lives in Crook, has served as local councillor, as a Member of Parliament, and in opposition, government and Cabinet teams. She is in an ideal position to talk about and answer questions on the role of politics at local and national level.

This is not a political meeting …. it is a meeting about politics… and the part it can play in building a better Society.
The meeting is open to all.

Meeting arranged by Hamsterley Churches Together.
