At the June meeting of Hamsterley W.I. Ann Richards welcomed members and visitors before the minutes of the last meeting were read.
Mavis Brown-Humes gave her report as delegate to the DCFWI AGM.

Caroline Peacock writes: “Do please support Simon Raine in this very real challenge! For those of you who may not know Simon, he’s not entirely one’s image of a natural marathon runner… (he’ll kill me for that).” June 28th.
Over 30 of Richard’s local, university and military friends (and his girlfriend’s dog!) are taking part in a National Three Peaks Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) being organised by James Chilcott the weekend of 21 June.
