Pat Welsh, Vice-President, opened the Annual General Meeting. Members who had visited the Garden at Woodside House, Witton Park had enjoyed it.
Do you have old spectacles sitting in a drawer? These can be recycled by Teesdale and District Lions Club for use in Third World Countries.
Anne Walshaw was pleased to report that Pat Welsh was awarded third place with her Tote Bag and Sue Davies was awarded third place with her Knitted Waistcoat, at the County Craft Exhibition held at WI House.
The Annual General Meeting of Hamsterley WI will be held on Tuesday, 8 October 2013 at 7pm in Hamsterley Village Hall. Audrey Flannigan, WI Adviser and Past County Chairman will be the Guest.
Ann Richards welcomed everyone and we opened the meeting with the singing of Jerusalem. The minutes of the last meeting were read and signed.
